The idea

Listening closely to a mix is a skill; seeing it shouldn't need one. Each instrument (drums, bass, keys, guitar, vocals and everything else) gets its own ring, divided by pitch, and lights up as it plays, with the note name and its frequency band.

The live view works straight from your microphone in the browser. Full analysis separates a track into stems first, so every ring shows only its own instrument.

The demo track, Night Swim, is an original 16-bar piece composed in code; the browser synthesises its audio, so no recording is bundled.
